Starting the month of May, CCEF, with the support of Unico Conservation Foundation (UCF) introduces its new project: “Youth Care: Youth COVID Action and Response” to help mobilize the youth in helping vulnerable communities fight the COVID 19 crisis.
Although young professionals are some of the most affected by the pandemic’s socio-economic impacts, CCEF recognizes the important role of the youth in mobilizing resources, mitigating risks and working at the frontlines during this crisis. The Primary Objective of the project is to support locally-mobilized activities of the youth during the quarantine period. Among the beneficiaries of the said project are SK Apas, SK Lahug, SK Banilad, SK Calunasan, SK Sawang Calero, SK Suba, SK Biasong-Talisay, CEHOA-Consolacion and the Santo Nino Youth Consortium (SNYC).
CCEF plans to reach out to more communities at risk, especially to coastal barangays who have little to no access to covid relief assistance.
