CCEF at USAID – Gerry Roxas Foundation INSPIRE Project’s 2nd Annual Pause & Reflect

From July 8-11, 2024, the Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation (CCEF) participated in the USAID – GRF INSPIRE Project’s 2nd Annual Pause & Reflect event at the Seda Ayala Center in Cebu City. This key event brought together a diverse group of grantees to share insights and experiences from various projects, and to strategize for the upcoming year of the INSPIRE Project.

During the event, CCEF was honored to present our innovative practices in behavior change communication. Atty. Dalton Presle B. Dacal, CCEF’s Protect Danajon Project Manager, and Mr. Generoso O. Madrona, Protect Danajon Project Coordinator, highlighted our strategy of leveraging social media to broaden our impact. By partnering with local influencers in Bohol, we’re hopeful that we might amplify our message that will lead to an increased awareness of the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef’s significance. This approach will have a crucial role in engaging communities and enhancing their understanding of marine conservation.

The Pause & Reflect event provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, celebrating achievements, and planning for the future. CCEF’s participation reaffirms our dedication to advancing conservation communication and collaborating with other organizations to achieve our shared goals.

Thank you to USAID and the Gerry Roxas Foundation – INSPIRE Project for hosting this impactful event and to all our fellow grantees for their inspiring work. Together, we are making strides toward sustainable change and environmental stewardship.
