The Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation (CCEF), in partnership with Full Scale and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Talisay City, Cebu, organized a mangrove planting and coastal clean-up in Biasong, Talisay City, on July 1, 2024. The event’s main objective was to plant hundreds of mangrove
seedlings and clean the coastal area.
A total of 200 individuals participated in the event: 100 representatives from Full Scale, 20 from the CCEF, 50 from the Local Government Unit, and 30 from the people’s organizations.
Collectively, the participants planted over 300 mangrove seedlings and removed more than 15 sacks of trash from the coastal area.
