Olang Marine Sanctuary is the second largest Marine Protected Area in Siquijor. It was once devastated by typhoons, but has greatly improved through the assistance of different stakeholders, and strong enforcement!
The fruits when we choose to protect our marine resources is truly breathtaking.
Olang Marine Sanctuary won 1st runner up during the Isla de Fuego MPA Awards 2019 in Siquijor and also won the award of Best Enforcement Team.
