The fisherfolks of Barangay Basdacu, Loon, Bohol are very much interested to establish a fish refuge and sanctuary.This barangay conducted a public hearing to ascertain the interest and approval of the populace. The barangay councils seeked assistance from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to survey and determine the area proposed for the establishment of a fish refuge and sanctuary.
